Range of qualifications of the Carers    

     Our care staff have a range of experience in caring for older people and people with a learning or physical disability . 

Our carers follow a three day induction programme.  After this induction and probationary period all carers undertake a training needs analysis which is then included in their training and development plan.  We exceed the CSCI  (Commission of Social Care Inspection) requirements for NVQ qualifications achieved by our carers.  All carers take mandatory  formal qualifications and have an appraisal each year to assess their overall standard of performance and their training needs.

Complaints Procedure

Acare has a comprehensive procedure and policy enabling the service user to compliment or complain about the services we provide.  This procedure includes the service users right to discuss their complaint with the Commission for Social Care and Inspection.
