Our care workers will make sure that:

Each service user is valued and has the right to control their own affairs.

Each service user has control over how they live their life, make their own decisions and express their wishes and preferences.

All service users have equal rights and are entitled to protection against any form of discrimination.
Services may include:
Basic Tasks
Dressing
Personal hygiene
Assistance with eating and drinking
Continence management
Changing Catheter bags
Sitting Services
Domestic Help
Housework, laundry, shopping and meal preparation.
Escort Duties
Hospital appointments etc. to assist you and to ensure your safety.
Medication
Care Workers can provide assistance to you with your medication when identified
as part of your care package. For this to happen you or those close to you must
arrange for your pharmacist to have your medication dispensed into a medi-pack
or blister packs so that you can be helped with your medication safely. You will
need to arrange for repeat prescriptions.
Specialist Tasks
From time to time service users may need us to carry out specialist tasks. Our
Care workers will only carry out these tasks after a risk assessment and suitable
Training from someone with a relevant qualification (for example, an
Occupational therapist, speech therapist or nurse) who will sign a form to
Indicate their competence. |
